Israel kills scores in Gaza dawn massacres following hospital bombing

Heavy Israeli bombardment killed at least 60 Palestinians across the Gaza Strip in early morning strikes on Wednesday, according to local reports.

A series of simultaneous air strikes pounded four residential areas in northern Gaza, concentrated in various parts of Jabalia refugee camp and its surroundings.

Many children and women were seen torn to pieces in videos posted by reports of the aftermath.

One clip showed rescue workers putting three infants with pierced heads into one mortuary cabinet unit at the hospital.

Other images from inside the Indonesian Hospital showed bodies of people piled on the floor.

According to the Indonesian hospital, the bodies of at least 50 people arrived at the northern Gaza facility, including 22 children and 15 women.

Similar bombing was also reported in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, targeting displacement camps.

It followed the heavy bombing of the vicinity of the city’s European Hospital on Tuesday evening with more than 40 powerful bunker buster bombs.

The attack left some of the facility's equipment destroyed and killed several people.

Israeli media said the military targeted senior Hamas commander Mohammad Sinwar in the attack.

However, Haaretz reported on Wednesday that the attack was based on "partial intelligence" and was approved "very quickly", indicating that there was uncertainty in Israel about the outcome.

Israeli forces have killed more than 52,900 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip since October 2023, including at least 15,000 children.

At least 10,000 more people are missing and presumed dead, while nearly 120,000 have been wounded.
